Brosig B-Dahl Bluestem Grass Seed   |   Drought Resistant Grass

After B-Dahl grass was released from a Texas research center around 1995, Charles Lancaster of Lampassas, Texas was one of the first producers to establish a field of B-Dahl Grass.  The Brosigs purchased their first seed from him and with his guidance they eventually started producing and marketing W.W. B-Dahl Grass Seed.  Without the help and expert knowledge of Charles and his wife Sue, they would not be in the B-Dahl Grass Seed business today.  

 

 

As lifelong ranchers, Clayton and Bonnie Brosig started planting B-Dahl Grass Seed in the mid- 90's to see if the grass could withstand the harsh Texas climate any better than other native and improved grasses available at the time.  

 

A few years later, they produced enough seed and were so pleased with grass production, they started Brosig B-Dahl Grass Seed Company and began selling to the public.
